When you go "Fishing with Gus", you have the option of being picked up at your own pier (if you live on Lake Norman) or at one of the pick up locations listed below.
Pick up locations change with the season and with striper migration throughout the lake. Gus will let you know which pier is closest to the fish when you book your trip.

These are the preferred pick-up locations for the spots that we will be fishing. This will maximize your time fishing and reduce your "travel time" on the water.
On special occasions, Capt. Gus can meet you at one of the secondary Pick Up locations.

- Take Highway 16 North - to Saint James Church Rd. (two exits north of Highway 73 - Denver NC) - Turn Right
- Saint James Church Rd. to stop light at Old Highway 16 - Turn Right
- Old Highway 16 South to Webbs Rd. (second stop light) -Turn left
- Webbs Rd to stop sign at Burton Rd.( 1.7 miles) - Turn left
- Go 1.0 miles on Burton Rd (SR 1376) to Little Creek Access .
- From Huntersville/Cornelius/Salisbury, NC
- Take Highway 73 West to Old Highway 16 North - Turn Right
- Go to three stop lights to Webbs Rd. - Turn right
- Webbs Rd to stop sign at Burton Rd. (1.7 miles) - Turn left
- Go 1.0 miles on Burton Rd (SR 1376) to Little Creek Access.
From Hickory/Newton, NC:
- Take Old Highway 16 South to Webbs Rd in Denver NC (Approximately 4.5 miles south of Highway 150) - Turn Left
- Webbs Rd to stop sign at Burton Rd. (1.7 miles) - Turn left
- Go 1.0 miles on Burton Rd (SR 1376) to Little Creek Access.
- From: Lincolnton, NC
- Take Highway 150 East to Old Highway 16 South - Turn Right
- Take Old Highway 16 South - approximately 4.5 miles to fourth stop light - Webbs Rd. - Turn Left
- Webbs Rd to stop sign at Burton Rd. (1.7 miles) - Turn left
- Go 1.0 miles on Burton Rd (SR 1376) to Little Creek Access.
From Mooresville/Terrell, NC:
- Take Highway 150 West - to Slanting Bridge Rd. (approximately 10 miles from I-77) Turn Left
- Take Slanting Bridge Rd/Camp Ground Rd to stop light at Old Highway 16 - Turn left
- Take Old Highway 16 South - go approximately 2.0 miles to third stop light - Webbs Rd - Turn Left
- Webbs Rd to stop sign at Burton Rd. (1.7 miles) - Turn left
- Go 1.0 miles on Burton Rd (SR 1376) to Little Creek Access
